- Job Function : Linux Embedded Performance

Education Requirements :

- BE/MTech/MS in computer science or relevant field.

Skills/Experience :

- 1-2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc, and Linux operating systems

- Strong understanding of Networking concepts, particularly with L3/L4 (Layer 3/Layer 4) experience

- Good kernel skills and ability to understand system design and tradeoffs.

- Experience with Ethernet, Wifi etc is a plus.

Responsibilities :

- Contribute to the design and implementation of network stack components

- Perform thorough testing to ensure the reliability and performance of the developed components

- Develop system performance optimization features on Linux platform.

- Analyze, debug and resolve performance issues on Linux devices like Throughput/KPI Performance Analysis, boot time, memory, I/O, launch latency etc.

- Configure and tune system parameters for common scenarios to ensure good user experience and achieve the balance of performance and power.

- Provide key support to OEMs for features and issues.

- Work closely with other technical team and provide support from performance perspective.

Skills /Experience are plus :

- Good understanding on Linux drivers and power management.

- Good understanding on Linux scheduler.

- Good understanding on File system and I/O scheduler.

- Good understanding on Linux IPC mechanisms, like binder/AIDL/socket etc.

- Good English oral and written skills.
