Technical business analysts will help align IT systems with business by analyzing business processes, underlying data, processes. Technical BA will act as a liaison between business and technical teams in helping to develop integrated software solutions which aligns with business needs.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Analyze existing systems and document E2E process flow.

- Document existing data flow within each business process for a system.

- Document data structures for each systems by formalizing data dictionaries, schemas for each source

- Working with source SMEs to identify business definitions of each data set and all the attributes which comprise a technical process which support business.

- Ability to understand business requirements from non-technical perspective and documenting the same in BRD.

- Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements.

- Ability to breakdown a single business requirement into multiple technical requirements.

- Ability to assess technical delivery plan alignment with overall business requirement delivery via segmented technical requirements.

- Ability to document bespoke or KPI driven use cases within a specific business or systems or application.

- Ability to breakdown use-cases into technical requirements.

- Ability understand data aspect of use case.

- Capability to work with architecture, design, build and test teams to align business requirement delivery with technical delivery teams.

- Can create End to End Mapping documents for data originating at source required for a use case which will be passed through data architecture used for technical delivery.

- Develop comprehensive E2E test cases from UAT perspective.

- Get agreement with business owners and data owners on each aspect of delivery.

- Help testing teams create test data and help drive testing strategy.

- Identify business trends utilizing real data, compile analysis reports that are delivered to developers and then follow-up on all results

- Help implementing management plan across deliverables and manage regular stakeholder meetings to keep all interested parties updated on business deliverables.

- Manage and catalogue use cases with capability to identify overlap across existing and future use cases.

Must Have :

- Hands on advanced SQL.

- Experience and Understanding on how to break down a source system process by process.

- Basic understanding of various data modeling methodologies.

- Good Communication skills.

- Clear understanding of SDLC and agile/waterfall/JIRA method of delivery.
