Role Overview :
As a PAM Engineer, based in Hyderabad, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions. You will collaborate with various teams, including security, infrastructure, and application development, to ensure the secure management of privileged accounts and secrets across the organization. Your work will directly impact the security posture by mitigating risks associated with unauthorized access to critical systems and data.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and implement PAM solutions using CyberArk and HashiCorp Vault to secure privileged accounts and secrets across the enterprise.
- Develop and maintain scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Python) to automate PAM tasks, such as account onboarding, offboarding, and password rotation, for improved efficiency.
- Integrate PAM solutions with existing identity management systems (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP) to streamline user provisioning and authentication processes.
- Monitor PAM systems for security events and anomalies, and respond to incidents in a timely manner to minimize potential damage.
- Develop and maintain documentation for PAM processes and procedures to ensure consistent and effective operations.
- Collaborate with application teams to onboard applications and systems into the PAM solution, ensuring secure access and compliance with security policies.
- Conduct regular security assessments of PAM systems to identify vulnerabilities and implement remediation measures to strengthen security posture.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other teams on PAM-related issues to promote adoption and best practices.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and manage Privileged Access Management solutions, particularly CyberArk.
- Proven expertise in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automating tasks and integrating systems.
- Strong understanding of identity management principles and technologies, including Active Directory and LDAP.
- Experience with secrets management solutions, such as HashiCorp Vault, for securely storing and managing sensitive information.
- Solid knowledge of security best practices and principles, including authentication, authorization, and access control.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
