Key Responsibilities :

Billing Delivery & Requirement Management :

- Gather, analyze, and document requirements (BRDs, FRDs, user stories) focused on Duck Creek Billing.

- Understand and configure billing processes including :

1. Billing plans & schedules.

2. Invoicing and payment processing.

3. Collections, dunning, and refunds.

- Identify and resolve premium mismatches within billing systems.

- Support SIT/UAT, defect tracking, and release cycles.

Billing Configuration & Development :

- Configure and support Duck Creek Billing (DCB) solutions using :

1. Author (Manuscripts, XML/XSLT rules).

2. Billing workflows and configurations.

- Implement and validate billing-related functionalities and enhancements.

- Support integrations with external systems (payment gateways, finance systems, APIs).

- Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure high-quality delivery.

Required Skills :

- 4-8 years of experience in P&C Insurance IT, with strong focus on Duck Creek Billing.

- Strong understanding of :

1. Billing lifecycle (invoicing, payments, collections, refunds).

2. Billing configuration and workflows.

- Hands-on experience with :

1. Duck Creek Author & Manuscripts.

2. Integration concepts (REST/SOAP APIs).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Basic understanding of SQL/data validation.

- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
