Role Overview :

As an Azure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and security specialists, to deliver innovative and scalable solutions that meet our clients' business needs. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the security, reliability, and performance of our cloud infrastructure, directly impacting the efficiency and effectiveness of our client's operations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design and delivery of scalable cloud solutions using Azure PaaS servicesApp Services, Azure SQL, Functions, Logic Apps, Web Jobs, Service Bus.

- Architect and modernize microservices for Azure, including migration of legacy components into secure, cloud native patterns.

- Build and optimize Azure SQL databasesqueries, stored procedures, performance tuning.

- Design and implement microservices-based solutions, including migration of existing microservices to Azure

- Should have good Experience in working with Scrum, agile model.

- Design and implement Azure cloud solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.

- CI/CD : Knowledge of Jenkins and GitHub Actions for automated deployments and IaC (ARM/Bicep/Terraform).

- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate the provisioning and management of Azure resources.

- Implement and manage security controls within the Azure environment to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure infrastructure and applications, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.

- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and scalability within the Azure environment.

- Contribute to the development of cloud migration strategies and execute migration plans for on-premises workloads to Azure.

- Monitor and analyze Azure resource utilization to identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure services and technologies, evaluating their potential impact on our clients' business.

- Implement containerised applications using Kubernetes and manage orchestration in Azure.

- Own CI/CD strategy using GitHub Actions/Jenkins; enforce best practices for automated deployments and quality gates.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and manage Azure cloud solutions, including compute, storage, networking, and security services.

- Proven experience in developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.

- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and practices, with experience implementing security controls in Azure.

- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python for automation and configuration management.

- Experience with front-end technologies such as React.js, jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML5, and AngularJS.

- Solid understanding of back-end development using C# and .Net Core.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
