EY - Application Backend Engineer - Java/Python

Job Description :

Role : Application Backend Engineer Level 1, 2 and 3

Note : For Level 3 Python is Mandatory

Must Have :

- Strong Programming skills in Java 17, SpringBoot 3.0+ and Python 3.9+

- Advance understanding AWS Services (Dynomo DB, S3, Route 53, Athenam Lambda, Step function, SNS/SQS, cloud formation, API Security/IAMBedrock), GitHub, Bitbucket, CI/CD, Cloud Formation and API Security/IAM Bedrock

- Good understanding of API Security - OAUTH/OKTA jwts etc

- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, conduct root cause analysis

- Familiarity with observability concepts and tools (Splunk, Honeycomb, Open Telemetry, CloudWatch

- TDD/BDD

- Test Automation (Cucumber)

Desired Certification :

- AWS Solution Architect - Associate

- AWS Developer - Associate

Nice to have :

- Familiarity with AI/ML Knowledge, Claude Code, Github, Copilot is a plus
