- Must be able to work closely with design engineers, marketing, and other test engineers.

- It is important for the candidate to be able to understand feature requirements and translate to test cases and test automation.

- This position requires the ability to quickly and effectively execute testing assignments.

Experience :

- 15+ Years.

Strong data networking concepts :

- Working Knowledge of Layer-3 Protocols IPv4/IPv6, OSPFv2/v3, IS-IS, BGP4, IGMP, PIM-SM/SSM.

- Exposure to VxLAN, L2VPN (Pseudowire, VPLS) and L3VPN (BGP/MPLS VPN) technologies.

- Strong Knowledge of product verification methodologies and strategies.

- Experience in performance and throughput testing.

- Experience in working with test tools like Ixia, Smartbits, STC and packet sniffers.

- Experience in scripting languages like Python, Perl, Tcl and Tk.

- Experience with Rational ClearQuest or other bug tracking tools.

- Experience in test case management tools like Quality Center.

- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
