We are seeking an experienced Test Engineer with strong exposure to Finacle Core Banking solutions.

The role involves functional testing of banking applications, close collaboration with business and development teams, and ensuring high-quality delivery through structured test planning, execution, and reporting.

The candidate must be able to clearly understand banking workflows and participate in client interviews as part of the selection process.

Key Responsibilities :

- Understand business requirements, banking functionalities, workflows, and screen navigation of Finacle Core Banking applications.

- Acquire in-depth knowledge of the application under test to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

- Raise functional and business clarifications with stakeholders to eliminate ambiguity.

- Design and document test conditions, test cases, and test data in line with project requirements.

- Incorporate review feedback and update test artifacts accordingly.

- Execute test cases and log test execution results, including pass logs, defect logs, re-test (re-raise) logs, and closure logs.

- Perform defect tracking and coordination with development teams for resolution and re-validation.

- Assist the Test Lead in collating testing metrics and preparing status reports and dashboards.

- Ensure adherence to testing standards, processes, and timelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Test Engineer.

- Mandatory experience with Finacle Core Banking applications.

- Strong understanding of banking domain concepts and workflows.

- Hands-on experience in manual functional testing.

- Experience in test case design, defect management, and test documentation.

- Ability to interact confidently with clients and stakeholders (client interview required).

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
