Role Overview :

We are looking for a highly experienced SAS Subject Matter Expert (SME) with strong technical leadership skills to support a large-scale migration from Cloudera to AWS.

The role involves re-platforming SAS workloads to AWS, validating migration strategies, and ensuring robust, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Act as SAS SME and technical lead for migration projects

- Lead Cloudera exit and SAS re-pointing to AWS

- Design, validate, and challenge migration approaches and architecture

- Hands-on development and optimization of SAS programs

- Work closely with stakeholders to define migration strategy, timelines, and risks

- Perform code assessment, remediation, and performance tuning post-migration

- Ensure data integrity, performance, and security during migration

- Mentor team members and provide technical guidance

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong hands-on expertise in SAS (Base SAS, Advanced SAS)

- Proven experience in SAS migration projects, preferably to AWS

- Solid understanding of AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, Glue, etc.)

- Experience with Cloudera/Hadoop ecosystems

- Strong problem-solving, validation, and solution-design skills

- Ability to work independently and lead technically
