About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Application Support Consultant with strong knowledge in Product Information Management (developed on PHP), WooCommerce, PHP, SQL, Azure Monitoring, and Microsoft technologies, along with QA testing capabilities.

The consultant will be responsible for day-to-day support, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, QA validation/unit testing, and implementing enhancements to ensure system stability, business continuity, and smooth operations.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Develop, troubleshoot, and optimize PHP/open-source-based applications.

- Manage SQL queries, stored procedures, and perform data fixes.

- Monitor system health using Azure Monitoring tools (alerts, logs, dashboards).

- Develop, support, and validate APIs and integrations with Business Central and other systems.

- Perform QA validation and unit testing including sanity checks and post-fix data validation.

- Collaborate closely with business and technical teams to understand requirements and issues.

- Automate workflows and support enhancements using Power Automate and Power Apps.

- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and recommend preventive measures.

- Maintain documentation including incidents, RCA reports, test results, and knowledge base articles.

- Follow ITIL-based Incident/Change Management processes (preferred).

- Adhere to ISMS 27001 norms (mandatory for all employees).

Skills Required :

Technical & Functional Skills (Mandatory) :

- Requirement analysis, troubleshooting, RCA, incident management, and problem management.

Strong knowledge in :

- Product Information Management (PHP-based)

- WooCommerce, PHP, open-source frameworks (WordPress, WooCommerce Plugins, Laravel)

- MySQL / PostgreSQL / SQL (queries, joins, tuning, stored procedures)

- REST APIs / Web Services

- Azure Monitoring (logs, alerts, dashboards)

- Power Automate and Power Apps

- Workflow automation and data integrations

- QA/testing skills including regression testing, sanity checks, API/data validation, test execution, defect logging and closure, and data accuracy validation.

Preferred (Optional) :

- Zend framework

- Laravel

Experience Required : 5+ years

Soft Skills (Mandatory) :

- Strong technical aptitude, communication skills, and troubleshooting abilities.

- Logical reasoning and critical thinking.

- Effective problem-solving and coordination with business and technical teams.

- Strong documentation skills.

- Ability to multitask and manage stakeholders efficiently.

Experience Required : 5+ years

Qualification :

- Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.

- MBA preferred.
