Job Description :

We are looking for a Senior Data Conversion Specialist to join our cutting-edge development team as it grows. They should have a meticulous approach to their work and the ability to maintain high-quality work while meeting tight deadlines. Ability to work individually or in a team to to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution.

Roles And Responsibilities :

- Meeting the daily benchmarks

- No internal or external escalations/complaints

- Maintaining necessary project related records

- Communicate product related errors with appropriate details and improvement points

- Use or run appropriate tools to ensure quality of the deliveries

- Deliver/Submit final files to client specific platforms

- Adherence to Client SLA

- Test, evaluate and include freelancers/Vendors

- Study, understand client requirement, create instruction doc, and provide inputs to create conversion documents, create samples.

- Analyzing the customer requirements and create the tool requirement, document for automation

- Ability to work individually or in a team to meet tight deadlines

Skills Required :

- Strong knowledge in XML

- Hands-on experience in handling both book and journal XML

- Knowledge in analyzing DTD, MathML, creating scripts XML editors (Epsilon, XML Exchanger, Oxygen XML, Notepad++, etc.)

- Good understanding of digital technologies such as XPath, XSLT, Schema, ePub

- Knowledge in third-party deliverables like PubMed, PMC, Ingenta, HighWire, Atypon and Cross ref.

- Good communication, analytical and presentation skills, problem-solving skills and learning attitude

Eligibility Criteria :

- Role : Senior Data Conversion Specialist

- Location : Chennai

- Experience : 5+ years of related experience

- Qualification : Bachelors degree preferred; equivalent years of experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
