Job Summary :

The Exchange & Microsoft 365 Support Engineer is responsible for administering, supporting, and optimizing Microsoft Exchange (On-Prem and Online) and Microsoft 365 services. The role includes managing high availability environments, handling escalations, ensuring service continuity, integrating Microsoft 365 services, and driving continual service improvements.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage and support Microsoft Exchange environments including Exchange Clusters and Database Availability Groups (DAG).

- Plan and implement Exchange rollups, cumulative updates, and service packs.

- Prepare Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports for major incidents.

- Perform repeat incident and alert analysis to prevent recurrence.

- Carry out performance tuning as recommended by OEM best practices.

- Maintain and update availability and capacity management plans.

- Participate in Continual Service Improvement (CSI) planning and execution.

- Plan and execute Disaster Recovery (DR) drills based on defined recovery procedures (where DR is in scope).

- Prepare, maintain, and update SOPs, Knowledge Base articles, and operational documentation.

- Maintain and update Infrastructure AS-IS and other technical documents.

- Integrate Exchange Online with Microsoft 365 services including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive for Business.

- Configure and manage mail flow connectors with external partners and third-party services.

- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to ensure seamless system integration.

- Perform eDiscovery and data export activities for Email and Microsoft Teams.
