EvonSys - Performance Test Engineer - JMeter/LoadRunner

Designation : QA Performance Test Engineer.

Location : Hyderabad/ Chennai.

Experience : 611 years of experience in Performance Testing and Automation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute performance test plans and scripts using LoadRunner/Performance Center and JMeter.

- Analyze application architecture and collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to create performance test strategies.

- Work with stakeholders to define performance testing requirements, KPIs, and SLAs.

- Develop and maintain automation test frameworks to support regression and functional testing.

- Conduct root cause analysis of performance issues and provide actionable optimization recommendations.

- Collaborate with developers, DBAs, and system engineers to resolve performance bottlenecks.

- Generate detailed performance test reports with observations, metrics, and improvement

suggestions.

- Participate in performance engineering reviews and capacity planning exercises.

- Stay updated with industry best practices, new LoadRunner features, and performance engineering trends.

Skills & Qualifications :

- 611 years of experience in Performance Testing and Automation.

- Strong expertise in LoadRunner (VuGen, Controller, Analysis) and Performance Center.

- Proficiency in scripting with multiple LoadRunner protocols (HTTP/HTML, Web, Web Services, Citrix, TruClient, etc.

- Expertise in JMeter for performance testing.

- Solid background in Automation Testing (framework design, scripting, and execution).

- Experience with Performance Monitoring Tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, Splunk, etc.

- Knowledge of performance testing concepts (response time, throughput, latency, concurrency, think time, ramp-up/down).

- Strong skills in analyzing performance metrics, logs, and bottlenecks.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating performance tests into DevOps environments (preferred).

- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
