Evolent Health - Senior Data Engineer - Python/SQL/ETL

Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex data solutions, ensuring scalability and maintainability.

- Architect and implement high-performance data pipelines and data warehousing solutions that support critical business functions.

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX designers, and other engineers, to translate business needs into technical data solutions.

- Conduct thorough code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to best coding practices.

- Mentor and coach junior data engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.

- Identify and implement improvements to the data engineering lifecycle, including automation, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production data issues, working to ensure high availability and reliability of data services.

- Evaluate and integrate new tools, frameworks, and technologies to improve data engineering processes and team productivity.

- Drive the technical vision for data projects, contributing to architectural discussions and long-term planning.

Requirements :

- 5+ years of professional data engineering experience, with a proven track record of delivering complex, scalable data solutions.

- Expertise in database design and optimization for both SQL and NoSQL databases.

- Hands on experience on SQL/DBMS, Python, OOPS concept.

- Proficiency in multiple programming languages, such as Python, SQL, or Java, and familiarity with their ecosystems.

- Deep understanding of data architecture patterns, such as data warehousing, ETL processes, and dimensional modeling.

- Experience with data technologies

- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex data issues quickly.

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to lead technical discussions, present to stakeholders, and write detailed documentation.
