Evnek - Senior MERN Stack Engineer - Node.js/React.js

Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Build responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using React and modern UI libraries.

- Develop and optimize server-side APIs and microservices using Node.js and Express.js.

- Design efficient MongoDB schemas, perform query optimization, and manage database performance.

- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using JWT and session management.

- Write clean, modular, and maintainable code following best practices.

- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote technical excellence within the team.

- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and QA engineers to deliver robust solutions.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance across all layers.

- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and external services as needed.

- Stay up to date with emerging web technologies and continuously improve development workflows.

Required Skills :

- 8+ years of hands-on experience in MERN stack development.

- Strong proficiency in React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.

- In-depth understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end build tools.

- Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs (GraphQL experience is a plus).

- Proficiency with Git and version control best practices.

- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Solid understanding of web security principles, authentication, and authorization.

- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), Docker, or CI/CD pipelines is a plus.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience working in fast-paced, agile development environments.

- Knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes) or serverless architectures.

- Experience writing automated tests (Jest, Mocha, or similar frameworks).

- Familiarity with compliance and security standards (FinTech, Banking, BFSI) is advantageous.
