Job Title : QA Engineer (Web Platform Drupal & Next.js)

Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain test documentation : test plans, test cases, and test data for functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing.
- Execute manual testing for web UI and APIs, logging clear, reproducible issues with detailed steps and environment information.
- Perform cross-browser and device compatibility testing to validate responsiveness, accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA), and user experience consistency.
- Validate GraphQL/REST APIs using tools like Postman or Insomnia, including schema validation and error handling.
- Test API integrations between Next.js frontend and Drupal backend, ensuring smooth data flow and content workflows.
- Collaborate with developers, designers, and product owners to understand requirements, user stories, and edge cases.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint demos).
- Work with developers to reproduce issues, support debugging, and promote quality-first development practices.
- Provide QA input during requirement analysis and design phases to identify quality risks early.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in React/Next.js UI testing (component states, lifecycle testing).
- Extensive experience in API testing (GraphQL & REST) authentication, authorization, schema, and performance.
- Hands-on with bug tracking tools (Jira, Asana) and test management platforms (Zephyr, TestRail, qTest).
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser testing.
- Knowledge of accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1 AA).
- Proficiency with Git version control and collaborative workflows.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documentation and stakeholder collaboration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of web security testing (OWASP, GDPR, CCPA compliance).
Nice to Have :
- Familiarity with Drupal ecosystem (headless/decoupled, JSON : API endpoints).
- CMS/content workflow testing experience.
- CI/CD integration experience (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
- Performance testing (Lighthouse, WebPageTest, JMeter, K6).
- Analytics validation (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, GTM, Adobe Launch).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Acquia Cloud) and Docker.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (New Relic, DataDog, Sentry).
