Role Overview :

We are looking for a skilled Python API Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python frameworks, API development, and integration with modern data-driven systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop robust, scalable, and high-performance RESTful APIs using Python

- Build backend services using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django

- Collaborate with frontend developers, data scientists, and DevOps teams to integrate APIs

- Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and best practices

- Optimize application performance and ensure high availability

- Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) to manage data efficiently

- Integrate third-party services and external APIs

- Document APIs using tools like Swagger/OpenAPI

- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning

Required Skills & Expertise :

- Strong proficiency in Python programming

- Hands-on experience with API development (RESTful services)

- Experience with frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, or Django REST Framework

- Knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB)

- Familiarity with version control tools like Git

- Understanding of application architecture and design principles

- Experience with API authentication (JWT, OAuth)

- Basic knowledge of Docker / containerization

- Understanding of asynchronous programming is a plus

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience working in AI/ML-based applications or data-driven environments

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

- Familiarity with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
