Job Description

Job Title : System Administrator.

Location : Head Office, Chennai Perungudi.

Department : IT.

Experience : 8-10 years.

Job Summary :

This position will manage and support our IT infrastructure across multiple sites and will have strong hands-on experience in Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Endpoint Security, and Firewall management, along with a robust understanding of enterprise communication systems and internal application support.

Key Responsibilities :

Active Directory & Identity Management :

- Manage and maintain Active Directory, user provisioning, de-provisioning, and group policies.

- Administer Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) for identity and access management.

- Monitor and enforce security policies, including MFA and conditional access.

Microsoft 365 (O365) Administration :

- Manage and support O365 mailboxes, distribution groups, shared mailboxes, and licenses.

- Troubleshoot email flow, spam filtering, and mobile device configurations.

- Coordinate with Microsoft support for escalated issues.

Endpoint Security (Sentinel EDR) :

- Deploy and monitor Microsoft Defender for Endpoint / Sentinel EDR solutions.

- Respond to endpoint-related threats, alerts, and ensure compliance across devices.

Email Security Barracuda :

- Manage Barracuda Email Protection for inbound and outbound filtering.

- Monitor quarantine reports, email delivery issues, and user policy enforcement.

Network and Site Coordination :

- Coordinate IT infrastructure and connectivity across all office sites.

- Collaborate with vendors/ISPs for uptime, network health, and issue resolution.

- Monitor and troubleshoot LAN/WAN performance issues.

Firewall Administration FortiGate :

- Manage and configure FortiGate firewalls including rules, policies, VPNs, and security profiles.

- Perform regular firewall log reviews and ensure perimeter security.

Communication Systems (EPABX) :

- Administer and support EPABX systems configuration, call routing, extensions, and voice support.

- Liaise with telecom vendors for service and maintenance.

VIP User Support :

- Provide high-priority, white-glove support for executive/VIP users for all system-related needs.

- Ensure quick resolution, minimal downtime, and proactive monitoring.

Internal Application Support :

- Support internal business applications used by various departments.

- Coordinate with vendors/developers for bug fixes, updates, and enhancements.

- Assist users with login, access, performance, and usage issues.
