EverestDX - Scrum Master - Agile Methodologies

Description :

- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions.

- Ensure Agile principles and Scrum practices are consistently followed across teams.

- Support Product Owners in maintaining a well-groomed, prioritized product backlog.

- Drive sprint execution and ensure commitments are met with high quality.

Team Coaching & Enablement :

- Coach teams on Agile best practices, self-organization, and continuous improvement.

- Identify and remove impediments, risks, and dependencies affecting team velocity.

- Foster collaboration, accountability, and transparency within and across teams.

- Mentor junior Scrum Masters and Agile team members where required.

Program & Stakeholder Management :

- Coordinate across multiple Scrum teams, ensuring alignment with program goals and delivery timelines.

- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Data Scientists, Engineers, and Cloud teams.

- Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies to senior stakeholders.

- Support scaled Agile frameworks such as SAFe, LeSS, or Scrum@Scale.

Metrics, Reporting & Continuous Improvement :

- Track and report Agile metrics such as velocity, sprint burndown, burn-up, cycle time, and release predictability.

- Use data-driven insights to improve team performance and delivery outcomes.

- Drive retrospectives with actionable improvement plans and follow-through.

- Promote a culture of continuous learning and process optimization.

Data, AI & Cloud Delivery Support :

- Understand delivery lifecycles for data pipelines, AI/ML models, and cloud-native applications.

- Work closely with technical teams to manage dependencies across data platforms, ML workflows, and cloud infrastructure.

- Support DevOps and MLOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and release planning.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Core Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments.

- In-depth knowledge of Scrum, Agile, Kanban, and Lean principles.

- Experience managing multiple Agile teams simultaneously.

- Proven ability to facilitate effective Agile ceremonies and stakeholder discussions.

Technical Exposure (Must-Have) :

- Experience working on Data Engineering, AI/ML, Analytics, or Cloud projects.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Understanding of DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, automation, monitoring).

Tools & Frameworks :

- Agile tools : JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Rally, or similar.

- Experience with Scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe preferred).

- Metrics and reporting dashboards for Agile delivery.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.

- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have :

- Scrum Master certifications (CSM, PSM, SAFe Agilist).

- Experience in enterprise-scale or consulting environments.

- Exposure to AI lifecycle management (MLOps) and cloud security concepts.
