Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Middleware Administrator to manage and maintain Oracle WebLogic Server environments in support of enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for installation, configuration, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and deployment support across development, testing, and production environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Install, configure, and maintain Oracle WebLogic Server instances (11g/12c/14c).

- Manage domain configurations, clusters, JDBC, JMS, and security realms.

- Perform deployment, patching, and upgrades of WebLogic and hosted applications.

- Monitor server health, troubleshoot runtime issues, and optimize performance.

- Work closely with developers, DBAs, and other infrastructure teams to support application lifecycles.

- Automate routine administration tasks using shell scripting, WLST, or other scripting tools.

- Manage SSL/TLS certificates, keystores, and WebLogic security configurations.

- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness of middleware platforms.

- Document configurations, procedures, and operational guidelines.

- Provide 24x7 support for production issues and participate in on-call rotations.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 8+ years of experience in WebLogic administration in enterprise environments.

- Strong expertise in WebLogic Server installation, clustering, tuning, and troubleshooting.

- Solid knowledge of Java EE architecture, application deployment, and middleware concepts.

- Experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware, SOA Suite, or WebCenter (optional but preferred).

- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and scripting (Shell, Python, WLST).

- Working knowledge of load balancers (e.g., F5), firewalls, and network configurations.

- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Oracle Enterprise Manager, Nagios, Prometheus).

Preferred Skills :

- Experience in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, or automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Jenkins).

- Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

- Oracle WebLogic certification is a plus.
