Skills and Development :

- We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Database Architect, with a special focus on PostgreSQL and Solr, to join our team.

- The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of database architecture, experience with ETL tools, and expertise in designing and optimizing data pipelines.

- This role requires a quick learner who is an early adopter of technology and is enthusiastic about continuous learning and sharing knowledge with the team

- 8+ years of experience in DB, ETL & Data modeling related projects

- Lead the design and architecture of database solutions, with a primary focus on PostgreSQL, Solr & few more timeseries/analytics databases

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into effective database / Data flow designs

- Utilize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools to extract and transform data from various sources and load it into databases

- Develop and maintain data pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable data flow

- Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity and security

- Stay up-to-date with the latest database & ETL technologies and best practices

- Act as an early adopter of new technologies and assess their relevance to our data architecture

- Continuously learn and educate the team on emerging trends, tools, and techniques in database architecture

- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues promptly

- Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and data scientists to support their data requirements

Qualifications : In addition to the qualifications mentioned previously, the ideal candidate should also possess the following :

- Proven experience as a Database Architect, with expertise in PostgreSQL and Solr

- Familiarity with ETL tools and processes

- Strong understanding of data pipelines and their role in data management

- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to evolving data requirements

- Eagerness to learn and share knowledge with the team
