Event Driven & Queue Management Engineer

Description :

- Design and implement event-driven workflows for CBDC transaction processing.

- Develop and maintain publish-subscribe models for real-time data exchange.

- Ensure event sourcing and replay capabilities for audit and compliance.

Queue Management :

- Configure and manage Apache Kafka clusters for high-throughput messaging.

- Administer Solace PubSub+ for secure and reliable message delivery.

- Implement topic partitioning, replication, and retention policies.

- Monitor and optimize message throughput, latency, and fault tolerance.

Integration & Development :

- Integrate messaging systems with CBDC applications, microservices, and APIs.

- Develop producers and consumers using Java, Python, or Go.

- Implement schema registry and serialization formats (Avro, JSON, Protobuf).

Security & Compliance :

- Apply TLS encryption, authentication, and RBAC for messaging systems.

- Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and central bank security standards.

Monitoring & Troubleshooting :

- Use tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Confluent Control Center, Solace CLI for monitoring.

- Troubleshoot issues related to message delivery, consumer lag, and broker health.

Automation & Scripting :

- Automate cluster provisioning, topic creation, and ACL management using Ansible or Terraform.

- Develop scripts for backup, failover, and disaster recovery.

EXPERTISE AND QUALIFICATIONS :

- Strong experience in Apache Kafka administration (cluster setup, tuning, security).

- Hands-on experience with Solace PubSub+ or similar enterprise messaging platforms.

- Knowledge of event-driven architecture principles and distributed systems.

- Familiarity with CBDC architecture, blockchain integration, and secure environments.

- Proficiency in Linux administration, scripting (Bash, Python), and automation tools.
