Role Overview :

As a Python Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend services using the Flask framework. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, product managers, and data engineers, to translate business requirements into clean, scalable code. Your contributions will directly impact the reliability and speed of our core platforms, ensuring a seamless experience for our end-users while maintaining high standards of code quality and system architecture.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code to support the growth of our core product offerings.

- Design and implement RESTful APIs using the Flask framework to facilitate seamless communication between frontend interfaces and backend databases.

- Optimize application performance and latency by identifying bottlenecks and implementing effective caching and database query strategies.

- Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate third-party services and internal tools, ensuring robust system interoperability.

- Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions to uphold engineering best practices and ensure long-term maintainability of the codebase.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in building and deploying production-grade applications using Python and the Flask framework.

- Proven ability to manage relational databases and write complex, optimized queries to support high-traffic applications.

- Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and the ability to document technical processes clearly for team consumption.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical challenges and propose solutions to non-technical stakeholders.

- A proactive mindset with the ability to work effectively in an on-site environment in Bangalore, adapting quickly to evolving project requirements.

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, combined with 3 - 5 years of professional experience in backend development.
