Job Description : Program Manager

What You'll Do :

Program Governance & Oversight (Primary Focus) :

- Define delivery plans, milestones, timelines, and success metrics

- Review sprint plans, migration waves, and release schedules

- Track risks, dependencies, and escalations; ensure timely mitigation and resolution

Databricks Migration Leadership :

Oversee and govern migrations from :

- Azure Synapse/Azure SQL - Databricks

- Amazon Redshift - Databricks

- Google BigQuery - Databricks

Validate migration approaches across :

- Assessment and discovery

- Code and data migration

- Validation, reconciliation, and performance benchmarking

- Ensure best practices are followed for Delta Lake, job orchestration, performance, and cost

Stakeholder Management :

- Act as the single point of coordination between business stakeholders, delivery teams,

partners, and cloud providers

- Provide concise, executive-level reporting on progress, risks, and outcomes

Delivery Excellence :

- Ensure adherence to Agile or Hybrid delivery models

- Support scope control, change management, and informed decision-making

What Makes You a Fit :

Academic Background :

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field

- 5+ years of experience as a Program Manager/Project Manager in data, analytics, or cloud migration programs

- Proven experience managing or governing Databricks migration initiatives

- Strong understanding of cloud data platforms across Azure, AWS, and GCP

- Ability to manage complex, multi-workstream programs with limited weekly bandwidth

Project & Communication Skills :

- Experience working with distributed, cross-functional, and partner-led teams

- Ability to operate effectively in a fractional/advisory capacity

Good to Have :

- Experience with large-scale SQL, ETL, or data warehouse modernization programs
