Key Responsibilities for ETL Testing :

- Validate ETL workflows and ensure accurate data movement from source to target systems.

- Develop and execute test cases for ETL processes and data warehouse applications.

- Write complex SQL queries to validate data integrity, completeness, and accuracy.

- Perform data reconciliation between source and target databases.

- Identify, log, track, and verify defects until closure.

- Validate data transformations, business rules, and mappings.

- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand business requirements.

- Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, execution, and defect management.

- Prepare test execution reports and communicate testing status to project stakeholders.

- Support regression, integration, and system testing activities.

Mandatory Skills :

- Strong experience in ETL Testing.

- Excellent knowledge of SQL (complex queries, joins, subqueries, CTEs, window functions).

- Experience in Data Warehouse Testing.

- Strong understanding of Database Testing.

- Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, DataStage, or Ab Initio.

- Experience using defect tracking tools such as JIRA or ALM.

- Knowledge of Unix/Linux commands.

- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology.
