Role Overview :

We are seeking a meticulous ETL Testing professional to join our high-performing data engineering team across Chennai, Hyderabad, and Karnataka.

In this role, you will act as the gatekeeper of data integrity, ensuring that complex data pipelines and warehouse architectures function flawlessly before they reach production. You will collaborate closely with data architects, business analysts, and software engineers to translate intricate business requirements into robust test scenarios.

By validating the accuracy, consistency, and performance of our data ecosystem, you will directly influence the quality of decision-making for our stakeholders and ensure that our clients receive reliable, actionable insights from their data assets.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and execute comprehensive test strategies for end-to-end ETL processes to ensure seamless data migration and transformation across diverse source systems.

- Perform rigorous data validation and reconciliation between source systems and target data warehouses to guarantee 100% data accuracy for business reporting.

- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries to identify data discrepancies and validate business logic embedded within ETL mappings.

- Automate repetitive testing tasks using Python scripts to increase testing efficiency and reduce the time-to-market for new data features.

- Conduct performance testing on Snowflake DB to optimize query execution and ensure the scalability of our cloud-based data architecture.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot data quality issues, providing clear documentation and root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in ETL and Data Warehouse testing methodologies, with a proven ability to handle large-scale data sets in complex environments.

- Advanced proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data manipulation and validation, coupled with a strong understanding of relational and non-relational database structures.

- Practical experience in leveraging Python for test automation and data processing, enabling the creation of efficient, reusable testing frameworks.

- Hands-on experience working with Snowflake DB, including an understanding of its unique architecture, performance tuning, and cloud-native features.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate technical findings clearly to both technical peers and non-technical stakeholders.

- A collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment, maintaining high productivity and clear communication across distributed teams.

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, reflecting a strong foundation in data engineering principles.
