Role Overview :

As an ETL Tester at Jinendra Infotech, you will be responsible for validating the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data as it moves through complex integration pipelines. You will collaborate closely with data engineers, business analysts, and project stakeholders to ensure that data transformation logic aligns with business requirements. Your work directly impacts the reliability of decision-making processes by ensuring that high-quality, error-free data is delivered to downstream reporting and analytics platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to validate ETL mappings and transformation logic for large-scale data warehouses.

- Perform rigorous data validation across source and target systems to identify discrepancies and ensure data integrity throughout the migration process.

- Write complex SQL and PL-SQL queries to extract, compare, and verify data sets against business rules and technical specifications.

- Conduct manual testing of data integration workflows to identify edge cases and potential bottlenecks in data processing.

- Collaborate with cloud infrastructure teams to validate data pipelines deployed within AWS environments, ensuring seamless connectivity and performance.

- Document and track defects through the entire lifecycle, providing detailed analysis to development teams to facilitate rapid resolution.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated proficiency in writing advanced SQL and PL-SQL queries to perform deep-dive data analysis and reconciliation.

- Strong hands-on experience in ETL testing methodologies, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable test scenarios.

- Proven ability to navigate and validate data structures within AWS cloud environments, ensuring cloud-native data pipelines function as intended.

- Expertise in manual testing processes, including the creation of test scripts, execution of test cycles, and reporting of quality metrics.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment across our Chennai and Gurgaon locations.

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, reflecting a strong foundation in data systems and software quality assurance.
