Position : ETL Test Engineer

Job Summary :

We are looking for a detail-oriented ETL Test Engineer with strong expertise in ETL/Data Warehouse Testing, UI Automation, and Python. The ideal candidate should have experience validating large-scale data pipelines, ensuring data integrity across source and target systems, and developing automated test solutions for both data and web applications. The role involves working closely with development, QA, and business teams to deliver high-quality enterprise data solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute test cases for ETL and Data Warehouse applications.

- Validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes across multiple data sources.

- Perform source-to-target data validation and ensure data quality and consistency.

- Develop and maintain automated UI test scripts using industry-standard automation frameworks.

- Create and maintain Python-based automation utilities for testing and validation.

- Execute regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.

- Analyze ETL workflows, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams for resolution.

- Perform SQL queries for backend data validation and reconciliation.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Prepare test plans, execution reports, and defect documentation.

Required Skills :

- Strong experience in ETL Testing and Data Warehouse Testing.

- Hands-on experience with Python for test automation and data validation.

- Experience in UI Automation using tools such as Selenium or similar frameworks.

- Strong SQL skills for complex data validation and database testing.

- Good understanding of ETL concepts, data mapping, transformations, and data migration.

- Experience in API testing is an added advantage.

- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration is preferred.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is a plus.

- Exposure to data quality tools and reporting platforms is an added advantage.
