Role Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned ETL Test Automation Engineer to join our high-performing data engineering team in Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting and executing robust automation frameworks that ensure the integrity, accuracy, and performance of complex data pipelines within our Azure ecosystem. We will collaborate closely with data architects, software engineers, and business stakeholders to translate intricate business requirements into scalable testing strategies. By championing quality assurance throughout the data lifecycle, you will directly influence the reliability of our analytical platforms, enabling data-driven decision-making for our global client base.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement end-to-end automation frameworks for ETL processes to reduce manual testing overhead and accelerate deployment cycles.

- Validate complex data transformations and migrations within Azure Databricks environments to ensure data consistency and compliance with business logic.

- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify potential data quality bottlenecks and implement proactive monitoring solutions that safeguard production data integrity.

- Mentor junior team members on best practices in automation and data validation, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

- Analyze performance metrics of data pipelines to optimize processing times and resource utilization, directly impacting operational efficiency.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining automation frameworks for large-scale ETL environments, with a deep understanding of data warehousing concepts.

- Proficiency in leveraging Azure Databricks for data processing and validation, ensuring seamless integration within cloud-native architectures.

- Strong command over SQL and scripting languages (Python/PySpark) to develop complex test scripts and automate data reconciliation tasks.

- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical quality risks to non-technical stakeholders and influence project roadmaps.

- Proven track record of working effectively in a hybrid work environment, balancing independent technical execution with collaborative team problem-solving.

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by 8 - 18 years of relevant professional experience.
