Talent Worx is seeking an experienced and meticulous ETL Testing QA Analyst to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of hands-on experience in testing, with a strong focus on ETL processes. This role requires a methodical approach to problem-solving, a solid understanding of testing principles, and the ability to work effectively under pressure to ensure the quality and integrity of data transformations.

Key Responsibilities :

ETL Testing Execution :

- Conduct comprehensive testing of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and completeness.
- Design, develop, and execute test cases, test plans, and test strategies for ETL workflows.

Technical Proficiency :

- Utilize strong knowledge and hands-on experience with SQL for data validation, complex query writing, and data manipulation.

- Work with Unix/Linux environments for scripting, log analysis, and file system navigation related to ETL processes.

- Apply knowledge of Agile concepts and methodologies within the testing lifecycle.

Testing Methodologies & Tools :

- Implement a methodical approach to testing and problem-solving, with strong theoretical and analytical skills in planning and operations.

- Demonstrate familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and how Quality Assurance methodology integrates into it.

- Possess knowledge of relevant operating systems, programming languages, and database tools pertinent to testing.

- Work with defect tracking systems and processes, including change management (e.g., JIRA).

- Utilize knowledge of automated regression testing tools.

Collaboration & Communication :

- Possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a proactive attitude, constantly seeking opportunities to add value.

- Collaborate effectively with development teams, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure thorough testing and defect resolution.

Problem Solving & Adaptability :

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience in testing trading platforms or similar complex software will be highly valued.

Required Qualifications :

Experience : 5 - 8 years of experience as a Testing Analyst, with significant exposure to ETL testing.

Technical Skills (Mandatory) :

- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with SQL (complex queries, data validation).

- Proficiency in Unix/Linux commands and scripting.

- Familiarity with Agile concepts and methodologies.

- Experience with JIRA or similar defect tracking systems.

Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills :

- Methodical approach to testing and problem-solving.

- Strong theoretical and analytical skills, with demonstrated ability in test planning and operations.

SDLC & QA Knowledge :
