ETL/SSIS Developer - Data Engineering

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and optimizing ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading operations.

Key Responsibilities :

- ETL Development : Design, develop, and optimize ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various source systems into target data warehouses

- Data Transformation : Implement data transformation logic to clean, aggregate, and enrich raw data for analysis

- Database Management : Work with MS-SQL, T-SQL, and SSIS databases to manage data operations

- Process Automation : Develop automated ETL jobs and workflows using industry-standard tools

- Performance Optimization : Monitor and tune ETL processes for efficiency, accuracy, and consistency

- Data Quality Assurance : Ensure data integrity throughout the ETL pipeline with comprehensive testing and validation

- Production Support : Provide job monitoring and follow ITIL-based incident and change management processes

- Troubleshooting : Resolve ETL process issues and maintain detailed documentation of solutions

- Collaboration : Work with data architects, analysts, and business teams to meet project requirements

- Documentation : Maintain comprehensive documentation of ETL workflows and system configurations

Required Qualifications :

- Experience : 3-5 years in ETL development with strong pipeline design and optimization background

Technical Skills :

- Expert proficiency in T-SQL, SSIS, and SSRS (mandatory)

- Strong MS-SQL Server skills for large dataset manipulation

- Experience with both relational and non-relational databases

- Methodology : Experience working in Agile Scrum environments

- Tools : Proficiency with Azure DevOps

- Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders

- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in ETL development, including designing, developing, and optimizing ETL pipelines.

- Strong expertise in T-SQL, SSIS, and SSRS (mandatory skills).

- Strong experience with MS SQL Server for querying, data transformation, and handling large datasets.

- Good understanding of relational and non-relational databases.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with technical and business teams.
