We are looking for an experienced ETL/SSIS Developer with strong hands-on expertise in building, managing, and optimizing complex data integration workflows. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, understand business requirements with minimal documentation, and translate them into scalable and efficient ETL solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain SSIS packages to support complex ETL workflows, including advanced transformations, error handling frameworks, and performance optimization.

- Develop and optimize SQL Server objectsincluding stored procedures (including nested procedures), views, functions, and scriptsfor handling large-scale, high-volume data operations.

- Perform query performance tuning, index optimization, and troubleshooting to ensure efficient data processing and fast query execution.

- Work with large datasets and design data structures optimized for analytics, reporting, and downstream consumption.

- Hands-on experience with C# or VB.Net within SSIS (Script Tasks / Script Components) for custom extractions, transformations, data validations, API integrations, and other advanced logic.

- Familiarity with SSRS for building, deploying, and maintaining reports is preferred.

- Analyze existing code and ETL logic, reverse-engineer workflows, and enhance or optimize them with minimal documentation.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, data analysts, DBAs, and business users to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and availability.

- Ensure adherence to best practices in ETL development, version control, documentation, and deployment processes.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in SSIS, designing complex ETL workflows.

- Strong command over SQL Server, including writing and debugging advanced SQL scripts and stored procedures.

- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL design patterns, and enterprise data architecture.

- Proficiency in C# or VB.Net for integration inside SSIS (via Script Tasks/Components).

- Experience with performance tuning, troubleshooting, indexing strategies, and handling large datasets.

- Ability to work independently, analyze code logic, and deliver high-quality solutions with minimal supervision.

- Good communication skills and strong analytical/problem-solving abilities.

- Familiarity with SSRS is an added advantage.
