ETL Lead - Automation Testing

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled ETL Lead with extensive experience in ETL testing, automation, and data engineering.

The ideal candidate will lead the QA/ETL validation process, drive automation initiatives, and ensure data accuracy across data pipelines and warehouses.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage the end-to-end ETL testing and automation process.

- Design, develop, and execute test strategies, automation frameworks, and validation scripts.

- Perform complex SQL-based data validation between source, staging, and target systems.

- Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and business teams to define data quality metrics.

- Oversee data pipeline testing in cloud platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, GCP, etc.

- Implement test automation using Python, PySpark, or similar frameworks.

- Mentor and guide junior testers on ETL and automation best practices.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and manage QA deliverables.

Required Skills :

- 8+ years in ETL/data warehouse testing with hands-on automation experience.

- Strong SQL and ETL tool knowledge (Informatica, Talend, SSIS, ADF, etc.

- Proven experience in automation scripting (Python, PySpark, or custom frameworks).

- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and data quality validation.

- Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Azure, Databricks).

- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps) and version control (Git).

- Strong communication and leadership skills.
