ETL Developer - SSIS

Description :

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain SSIS packages for ETL processes, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability.

- Optimize and tune ETL workflows to handle large datasets effectively.

- Develop and maintain SQL Server objects including stored procedures, views, functions, and other database components.

- Perform query tuning, index analysis, and optimization to improve overall database performance.

- Work with SSRS for report development and enhancement when required.

- Utilize C# or VB.NET scripts within SSIS for advanced transformations and automation.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, create technical designs, and implement robust data solutions.

- Troubleshoot ETL job failures, data inconsistencies, and performance issues.

- Ensure data quality, validation, and governance across ETL pipelines.

- Document ETL workflows, data mappings, and system processes.

Required Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience in SSIS package development, debugging, deployment, and performance tuning.

- Expert-level skills in SQL Server, including complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, functions, and indexing strategies.

- Deep understanding of query optimization, execution plans, and index management.

- Working knowledge of SSRS for reporting.

- Experience using C#/VB.NET within SSIS Script Components or Script Tasks.

- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to investigate and resolve complex data issues.

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently as a self-starter while collaborating effectively with teams
