Role overview :

Minimum 4+ Years of experience is required in Data Specialist role. Preferred to be knowledgeable with various ESRI products ArcGIS Enterprise, Image Analyst Extension, Data Reviewer Extension.

We are seeking a highly skilled GIS Data Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting geospatial data to support informed decision-making.

Having AI/ML knowledge is an added advantage.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Data Collection and Management : Search, collect, process, and manage large datasets, including GIS data, satellite imagery, and other spatial data sources.

- Require knowledge of image analysis techniques like band combinations, pixel depth, and image strip artifacts removal.

- Validate and ensure the accuracy, quality, and completeness of spatial data.

- ETL operations : ETL operations between GIS applications/database using Esri Desktop or Server.

- Internally develop or collaborate with third-party vendors to deploy solutions based on business requirements.

- GIS Analysis and Mapping : Conduct spatial analysis, map creation, and geospatial model development to aid various projects and initiatives.

- Data Quality Assurance : Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency through quality checks and resolution of data discrepancies using ArcGIS Data Reviewer.

- Collaboration and Communication : Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including project managers, analysts, and external partners, to comprehend data requirements.

- Create training materials and Conduct trainings to customers as required.

- Support trade shows and Esri conferences as required.

- Stay Up to Date with Industry Trends : Engage in continuous professional development to uphold expertise in GIS technology, data analysis, and AI.

Desired skillset :

- Experience with Image analysis : Familiarity with Image processing techniques.

- Preferred to be knowledgeable with various ESRI products ArcGIS Enterprise, Image Analyst Extension, Data Reviewer Extension.

- Effective time management and organizational skills.

- Ability to identify, research, and resolve issues proactively and provide recommendations to business partners, peers, and various levels of management.

Non-negotiable skills :

- Working knowledge on imagery-based data creation on Esri platform.

- Master's degree in RS, GIS, Geoinformatics, or a related field.

- Should be ready for travelling & work at the client site if required.

- Self-motivated with exceptional planning, critical thinking, analytical and communication skills.
