Esper is looking for an experienced software engineering Technical Program Manager, who is business strategy, process, and technically minded.

This role will lead complex, cross functional technical programs and projects.

In addition, this role will involve a hands-on approach to own and scale our Product Engineering processes and will need to be a self starter, and use a friendly, flexible approach in a process-light environment.

What You'll Be Doing :

- Directed cross-functional program delivery across engineering, product, QA, and operations, overseeing multiple large-scale technology initiatives.

- Developed and executed program roadmaps aligned with strategic business goals, ensuring on-time delivery of mission-critical projects.

- Managed end-to-end program lifecyclefrom planning and requirements gathering to risk management, execution, and post-launch reviews.

- Collaborated with executives to prioritise initiatives, resolve escalations, and maintain transparency through clear communication and reporting.

- Scaled Agile program management frameworks, improving delivery predictability and cross-team collaboration.

- Mentored engineers and product managers, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

- Defined and tracked OKRs and KPIs to measure success and align with broader business objectives.

- Worked with technical leads to evaluate architecture decisions, resolve blockers, and ensure alignment between technical and business goals.

Skills & Abilities : B.tech/B.E

- 6-8+ years of industry experience in Software Industry.

- Minimum of 2-3 years of software engineer and 4-6 years of technical program/project management experience.

Bonus Points if You have :

- Experience delivering and supporting a major software release.

- Certification in SAFe, Agile Leadership, ITIL.

- Excellent balance of interpersonal, organizational, and technical skills.

- Managing relationships with key partners or vendors.

- Ability to evangelize and represent a technical community.

- Experience managing cross-functional projects.

- Effective working and partnering with executive level staff.

- Ability to deal with ambiguity and create order out of chaos.

- Experience managing and tracking budgets.

- Experience as a software engineering manager.

- Proven experience in leading globally distributed teams.
