Roles and Responsibilities :

- You will be involved in automating continuous integration pipelines using container native technologies.

- You will be responsible for deploying the container platform (Docker, Kubernetes), in various cloud environments.

- You will be responsible for proposing and implementing security measures related to container images, container engine and platform configuration, with the goal to achieve overall security of the platform.

- You will be involved in writing and assessment of Dockerfile, build configuration and proposing possible optimizations as and when required.

- You will be responsible for maintaining continuous integration pipelines and continuous delivery pipelines, reducing the time from code to delivery.

- You will be responsible for maintaining container registry platform, and application container images, that are required by Dev, QA and Delivery teams.

- You will be responsible for writing, maintaining Kubernetes application manifests and automate application deployment using them.

- You will be responsible for writing scripts in Python/Bash scripting languages with a goal to automate, integrate and monitor kubernetes platform.

- You will be responsible for implementing backup and restore services, for container platform, to ensure data availability and platform reliability.

- You will be responsible for communicating with different teams, while understanding their challenges, proposing relevant solutions and sharing platform integration knowledge.

- You will be responsible in producing and maintaining technical documents with respect to Design, Deployment, Network, Architecture, Backup and Restore plans for the platform.

- You will be responsible for evaluating relevant technologies and open-source software, driving architecture and design discussions.

Essential Skills and Knowledge required :

- Knowledge of Linux system administration is required.

- Basic knowledge of Docker Container and Kubernetes is required.

- Knowledge of networking and communication protocols, including TCP and HTTP(S) is required.

- Knowledge of data storage and retrieval using File management, Object Store and Databases (NoSQL and SQL) is expected.

- Basic Knowledge of virtualization, virtual-machines and cloud computing is preferred.

- Knowledge of Open SSL is required.

- Docker and Container Technology.

- Kubernetes / Certified Kubernetes Administrator
