About the Role

Key Responsibilities

- Develop custom apps and scripts using Frappe Framework and Python.

- Integrate ERPNext with other internal/external systems (e.g., e-commerce platforms, POS systems, payment gateways).

- Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure solutions.

- Participate in ERP implementation, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance.

- Develop and maintain REST APIs, reports, dashboards, and workflows within ERPNext.

- Provide support to internal users, resolve bugs, and optimize performance.

- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Contribute to documentation, testing, and deployment processes using CI/CD best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

- Solid proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and SQL.

- Deep understanding of DocTypes, Workflows, Role Permissions, Reports, and REST APIs in ERPNext.

- Hands-on experience in manufacturing and/or retail industry workflows.

- Experience in custom module development, scripting, and UI customization.

- Familiarity with Git, version control, and DevOps workflows.

- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance tuning skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with bench, Docker-based deployments, or cloud hosting (AWS, GCP).

- Understanding of accounting principles, warehouse operations, and retail/POS systems.

- Exposure to integrating third-party services via APIs or middleware (e.g., Zapier, webhooks).

- Prior experience working in startup or fast-paced product companies is a plus.
