We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to lead and empower our teams, ensure smooth delivery cycles, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Role Summary :
The Scrum Master will be responsible for facilitating Agile practices, guiding teams through the Scrum process, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
You will work closely with product owners, developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to remove impediments, promote transparency, and enhance productivity.
Your role is pivotal in driving Agile maturity across teams while ensuring a high-performing and collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Act as a servant-leader and facilitator for one or more Scrum teams in delivering high-quality SaaS products.
- Guide teams through Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with product owners to maintain a well-prioritized product backlog aligned with business goals.
- Identify and remove any impediments that hinder team productivity and morale.
- Ensure resource utilization is optimized for KPIs such as productivity, delivery TAT and stories / work allocation is aligned to delivery priorities.
- Coach teams on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous delivery to foster self-organization and accountability.
- Ensure that team members have a clear understanding of goals, scope, and deliverables.
- Track and report on team velocity, performance metrics, and delivery timelines.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, trust, transparency, and continuous improvement.
- Assist in scaling Agile practices across teams and integrating Agile processes with business workflows.
- Work with cross-functional teams to address dependencies, risks, and process improvements.
- Support the Engineering Head and leadership team in aligning engineering efforts with strategic initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications :
Education & Certifications :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent Agile certification is required.
Experience :
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager in a SaaS or technology-driven environment.
- Proven experience working with distributed or cross-functional teams.
Technical & Agile Skills :
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or LeSS.
- Experience with tools such as GitHub, Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps.
- Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into actionable development tasks.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC), DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
Soft Skills :
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to resolve conflicts, influence stakeholders, and coach teams towards better performance.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on metrics, outcomes, and data-driven decisions.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities.
