About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Banking Test Engineer with strong expertise in Oracle FLEXCUBE Core Banking and Oracle Banking Payments Module (OBPM) testing. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in Liability Products, Payments Processing, Banking Operations, and End-to-End Testing of Core Banking applications. The candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, stability, and compliance of banking applications by executing functional, integration, API, and system testing activities.

Key Responsibilities :

Core Banking Testing :

- Perform end-to-end testing of Oracle FLEXCUBE Core Banking applications.

- Validate Liability Banking modules and related banking processes.

- Execute functional, integration, regression, and system testing.

- Prepare test plans, test scenarios, and test cases based on business requirements.

- Validate banking transaction flows and customer lifecycle processes.

OBPM Testing :

- Test Oracle Banking Payments Module (OBPM) functionalities.

- Validate domestic and international payment processing workflows.

- Verify transaction routing, settlement, reconciliation, and exception handling.

- Ensure compliance with banking and payment processing standards.

Banking Domain Validation :

- Validate liability products including :

1. Savings Accounts

2. Current Accounts

3. Fixed Deposits

4. Recurring Deposits

5. Customer Information Management

- Verify account opening, maintenance, closure, and servicing workflows.

API & Database Testing :

- Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools.

- Execute backend validations using SQL queries.

- Verify data consistency across integrated banking applications.

- Validate batch processing and transaction reconciliation.

Defect Management :

- Log, track, and manage defects through closure.

- Work closely with developers and business teams to resolve issues.

- Participate in root cause analysis and defect triage meetings.
