Job Summary :

We are looking for an Automation Test Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Selenium, Playwright and Appium to build and execute automation across web and mobile applications. The role will design maintainable test frameworks, automate critical regression scenarios, integrate test execution with delivery pipelines and analyse failures to provide fast feedback to development teams.

The candidate should be comfortable working in an agile environment, balancing new automation development with execution, defect analysis and maintenance of existing suites. Strong understanding of test design, selectors, waits, reusable components, reporting and cross-browser/device validation is expected.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain automation frameworks and test suites using Selenium, Playwright and Appium.

- Automate functional, regression and end-to-end scenarios across web and mobile applications.

- Execute automated suites, analyse failures, report defects and collaborate with developers on resolution.

- Integrate or support automated testing within CI/CD pipelines and release workflows.

- Improve test coverage, stability, reusable components, reporting and test-data management.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 5 - 7 years of software testing experience with strong automation focus.

- Hands-on expertise in Selenium, Playwright and Appium.

- Good programming/scripting ability in a language used for test automation.

- Strong understanding of test design, defect lifecycle, regression strategy and agile testing.

- Ability to troubleshoot flaky tests, environment issues and application defects.

Preferred / Added Advantage :

- API automation experience and exposure to banking/digital-channel testing.

- Experience with CI/CD tools, device labs and test-reporting frameworks.
