Key Roles & Responsibilities :

End-to-End Data Migration Execution :

- Lead and execute the full lifecycle of data migration activities using the Syniti ADMM (Advanced Data Migration & Management) toolset.

- Manage all stages of migration data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading ensuring accuracy and completeness at every step.

- Apply SAP BODS (BusinessObjects Data Services) for complex ETL operations, transforming legacy data to align with target SAP or ERP data structures.

Data Extraction, Transformation & Loading (ETL) :

- Design and develop ETL jobs in SAP BODS to extract data from various source systems, transform it based on mapping rules, and load it into the target environment.

- Optimize BODS workflows for performance, scalability, and reusability.

- Ensure that data transformations comply with business and technical requirements defined in data mapping documents.

Data Migration Cockpit Operations :

- Use the Data Migration Cockpit to monitor migration progress, track load status, and manage execution logs efficiently.

- Identify, analyze, and resolve data load errors and validation failures during migration cycles.

- Collaborate with functional teams to perform trial loads and mock migrations before final cutover.

Data Validation, Cleansing & Reconciliation :

- Perform detailed data profiling and validation to ensure high levels of data quality before migration.

- Apply data cleansing techniques to remove inconsistencies, duplicates, and outdated information.

- Execute post-load data reconciliation between source and target systems to confirm successful migration and ensure 100% data integrity.

Syniti ADMM Tool Expertise :

- Demonstrate a clear understanding of the Syniti ADMM tool interface, its various tabs, modules, and features.

- Explain and utilize ADMM screen tabs (such as Design, Mapping, Validation, Execution, and Reporting) to manage different stages of the migration process.

- Configure ADMM components to meet project-specific requirements, ensuring alignment with Synitis best practices and methodology.

Documentation & Process Management :

- Document all migration processes, transformation logic, and mapping rules clearly and accurately.

- Maintain a log of exceptions, errors, and resolution steps to ensure traceability and continuous improvement.

- Support the creation of technical design documents, data mapping templates, and migration runbooks for audit and knowledge-sharing purposes.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management :

- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather data migration requirements and ensure the accuracy of migrated data.

- Partner with functional and technical teams to align data migration activities with overall project timelines and objectives.

- Communicate effectively with project managers, providing regular updates on progress, issues, and risk mitigation strategies.

Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement :

- Follow Synitis Advanced Data Migration Methodology (ADMM) framework to ensure a structured, repeatable, and auditable migration process.

- Participate in data quality reviews and continuous improvement discussions to enhance migration efficiency.

- Identify areas of automation and optimization within the migration process to reduce manual effort and improve reliability.

Mandatory Qualifications & Experience :

- Total IT Experience: Minimum of 4 years in software or data engineering roles.

- Syniti ADMM Experience: At least 6 to 8 months of hands-on experience in a live ADMM-based data migration project.

- SAP BODS Expertise: Proven experience in developing and maintaining ETL processes using SAP BODS for data extraction, transformation, and loading.

- Data Migration Cockpit Exposure: Practical experience in using SAP Data Migration Cockpit for managing and monitoring migration activities in ERP projects.

- ADMM Tool Knowledge: In-depth understanding of ADMM architecture, components, and screen functionalities.

- Certification: Candidates without prior ADMM project experience must hold a valid Syniti ADMM certification to qualify for this role.

- ADM Experience: Solid understanding of Application Data Management (ADM) principles, including data mapping, data quality management, and validation processes.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- Exposure to data migration methodologies and data governance frameworks within SAP or other ERP landscapes.

- Hands-on experience in defining and implementing data quality checks and transformation logic.

- Strong understanding of data models, master data management (MDM), and business rules validation.

- Technical background with a BE/BTech, MCA, or MSc degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA migration processes or legacy-to-SAP integration is an added advantage.

- Experience in handling large data volumes, complex mappings, and multi-phase migration projects.
