About the Role :

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will bring 4-5 years of strong manual testing experience, preferably in ERP systems or the printing domain, along with solid SQL skills and hands-on experience with test management tools such as Jira and Zephyr.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, stability, and performance of our software products by designing and executing comprehensive test plans within an Agile development environment.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams and play a key role in maintaining high-quality standards throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, review, and execute detailed manual test cases based on functional requirements, user stories, and design specifications.

- Perform thorough manual testing across modules to identify bugs, usability issues, and functional gaps.

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality releases.

- Maintain, organize, and regularly update test cases and test suites in Zephyr or similar test management tools.

- Log, track, and manage defects in Jira, ensuring accurate reporting, prioritization, and follow-through until closure.

- Write and execute SQL queries to validate backend data, ensure data integrity, and support root cause analysis.

- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives.

- Contribute to and advocate for continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and methodologies.

- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA team members, sharing best practices and encouraging skill development.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 4-5 years of hands-on experience in manual testing within software QA.

- Strong working knowledge of ERP systems, SQL, and database validation.

- Practical experience using test management tools like Jira, Zephyr, or similar platforms.

- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills with keen attention to detail.

- Experience with API testing and exposure to test automation tools is preferred but not mandatory.

Educational Qualifications :

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
