We are looking for a highly skilled and self-driven Automation QA Engineer (SDET QA) to take complete ownership of automation, functional, compatibility, integration, and regression testing for our ERP software products.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about product quality, enjoy solving complex technical challenges in the print solutions domain, and thrive in a collaborative, distributed development environment.

This role requires strong technical expertise, proactive ownership, and the ability to independently drive end-to-end quality processes, including automation and CI/CD activities across assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities :

Test Design & Execution :

- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality test cases, test data, and test reports.

- Understand system architecture, product workflows, and interdependencies to apply appropriate test methodologies.

- Plan and execute functional, integration, system, and regression testing across multiple platforms.

- Perform compatibility testing and validate product performance during various release cycles.

Automation Engineering :
- Develop, enhance, and maintain automation test scripts and custom automation frameworks.

- Automate web applications using tools like Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, and testing frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, etc.

- Implement and manage API automation and contribute to service-level automation coverage.

- Ensure timely execution of automated test suites and maintain automation stability.

Defect Management & Quality Governance :

- Identify, log, track, and verify defects while ensuring proper severity, prioritization, and follow-through.

- Evaluate existing testing processes and recommend improvements to enhance coverage, effectiveness, and efficiency.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, DevOps, product managers, and QA peers to deliver high-quality releases.

CI/CD & DevOps Integration :

- Establish and implement best practices for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).

- Work closely with DevOps teams to integrate automation into pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Ansible, etc.

- Contribute to the improvement of automated release and deployment workflows.

Required Skills & Experience :

Educational Background : B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Professional Experience : 710 years of experience in Functional & Automation Testing.

Technical Expertise :

- Minimum 5+ years of experience automating web applications using Java/Python, Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, and frameworks like JUnit, TestNG.

- Strong expertise in functional testing, E2E testing, and overall QA methodologies.

- Hands-on experience building automation frameworks from scratch.

- Solid understanding and implementation experience with API testing and automation.

- Experience with Performance Testing tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, and Security/Penetration Testing tools.

- Strong understanding of OOP concepts and experience with Maven, ANT, and similar build tools.

- Experience working with Jira or other defect tracking and project management tools.

- Familiarity with AI-driven automation is a plus.

- Proficiency with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Ansible, Git, etc.

- Thorough understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in the print solutions, ERP, or large-scale enterprise software domain.

- Experience in cloud-based automation or distributed testing environments.

- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for continuous improvement.
