The Opportunity :

We're looking for a hands-on Staff Software Engineer who combines deep backend engineering expertise, strong systems architecture skills, and practical experience building production-ready AI solutions.

You'll own the technical design and implementation of complex enterprise systems, from defining architecture and making critical engineering decisions to writing code and taking solutions into production.

This role is ideal for a builder-architect who thrives on solving challenging problems, works confidently across Java and Python, and understands how to integrate AI into secure, scalable, enterprise-grade applications.

What You'll Do :

- Own end-to-end architecture : Translate complex business requirements into scalable system designs, APIs, integrations, and technical solutions.

- Stay hands-on : Design and build backend services, microservices, distributed systems, and critical application components using Java, Spring Boot, and Python.

- Build production AI solutions : Apply LLMs, RAG, vector search, AI agents, and orchestration frameworks to solve real business problems.

- Engineer for security and reliability : Design systems with strong authentication, authorization, data protection, AI security controls, observability, and operational resilience.

- Drive technical excellence : Make architecture decisions, lead design reviews, solve complex production issues, and establish engineering best practices.

- Influence across teams : Mentor engineers and collaborate with Product, Engineering, Cloud, and Security teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

What You'll Bring :

- 12+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong track record of designing and delivering complex enterprise or product systems.

- Deep hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.

- Practical proficiency in Python for backend development, AI integration, or automation.

- Demonstrated ability to independently own system architecture and drive solutions from design through production.

- Hands-on experience building or integrating AI capabilities using LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, or AI agents.

- Strong understanding of application security, authentication and authorization (OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, RBAC or equivalent), and enterprise data protection.

- Experience with Azure and/or AWS, containers, CI/CD, automated testing, and production observability.

- The technical judgment to balance scalability, security, reliability, performance, cost, and delivery speed.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock, OpenAI APIs, Anthropic, or similar AI platforms.

- Familiarity with Kafka, relational and NoSQL databases, Kubernetes, and modern data platforms.

- Experience building SaaS products or working in regulated, security-sensitive enterprise environments.
