Role Overview :

We are looking for a seasoned .NET Solution Architect to lead the design and modernization of enterprise-grade applications using the Microsoft technology ecosystem.

The candidate will be responsible for defining application architecture, establishing engineering standards, designing scalable services, and guiding technical teams in building secure, maintainable, and high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Own the end-to-end architecture of enterprise applications built using the .NET ecosystem.

- Define technical architecture and solution blueprints using C#, .NET, .NET Core, and modern .NET platforms.

- Design scalable, modular, service-oriented, and microservices-based applications.

- Establish architectural patterns such as Clean Architecture, Domain-Driven Design, CQRS, and event-driven design where appropriate.

- Design RESTful APIs, asynchronous services, middleware, and enterprise integration components.

- Drive cloud-native application architecture using Microsoft Azure and, where relevant, other cloud platforms.

- Define integration strategies involving Azure API Management, messaging platforms, service buses, and third-party systems.

- Guide database architecture and data access strategies using SQL Server, Azure SQL, and appropriate NoSQL technologies.

- Establish application security standards covering authentication, authorization, identity management, secrets, and secure coding.

- Drive performance optimization, scalability engineering, application monitoring, and troubleshooting strategies.

- Lead application modernization, legacy migration, re-platforming, and monolith-to-microservices initiatives.

- Define engineering standards for code quality, testing, CI/CD, release management, and production readiness.

- Conduct architecture reviews, design assessments, technical risk evaluations, and technology selection exercises.

- Collaborate with product management, enterprise architects, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders.

- Mentor engineering managers, technical leads, and senior developers while ensuring adherence to architectural guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 17 - 25 years of experience in software development, Microsoft technologies, and enterprise application architecture.

- Extensive hands-on expertise in C#, .NET, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, and enterprise application design.

- Strong understanding of object-oriented design, SOLID principles, design patterns, and application modularity.

- Proven experience designing microservices, REST APIs, distributed systems, and asynchronous processing solutions.

- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud-native application architecture.

- Expertise in SQL Server, relational database design, query optimization, and data access technologies such as Entity Framework Core.

- Experience with messaging technologies such as Azure Service Bus, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.

- Strong knowledge of authentication and authorization standards, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and enterprise identity solutions.

- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment practices.

- Familiarity with observability, centralized logging, distributed tracing, and production support models.

- Ability to define architecture roadmaps, evaluate technical debt, and guide large engineering organizations.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Functions, Azure API Management, and Azure integration services.

- Exposure to enterprise architecture frameworks and large-scale cloud transformation programs.

- Relevant Microsoft Azure or solution architecture certifications.
