Role Overview :

As an Automation Test Engineer at EPAM, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, identify test scenarios, and implement effective test strategies. Your work will directly contribute to delivering high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients and end-users.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop robust automation test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks to validate software functionality.

- Execute automated test suites and analyze test results to identify defects and areas for improvement.

- Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into effective test cases.

- Contribute to the development and maintenance of test automation frameworks and infrastructure to improve efficiency and scalability.

- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and automation potential to enhance overall software quality.

- Document test plans, test cases, and test results to ensure traceability and maintain a comprehensive test repository.

- Identify and report defects accurately and efficiently using bug tracking systems to facilitate timely resolution.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in test automation to continuously improve testing practices.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar frameworks.

- Proven ability to analyze test results, identify defects, and communicate effectively with developers and stakeholders.

- Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and the software development lifecycle.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
