Bell Techlogix Solution Architect (SA) is responsible for using their knowledge of industry best practices around computer systems, operational processes, and client governance to help our organization, our clients, and potential clients solve business problems.
Their duties include working closely with the business leaders to develop solutions in response to Request for Proposal/Information (RFP/RFI), or for projects/expansion of scope within existing clients. In addition to the solutions, SAs are responsible for developing financial models, presentation, and written responses, and working with sales to support the solutions being proposed.
Essential Functions :
- Develop solutions which integrate the overarching business objectives of a client regarding their IT systems and supporting processes.
- Collaborate with leaders across departments in an organization to understand and make recommendations on needs and objectives to drive business outcomes.
- Understand, create, and maintain financial models to support each aspect of the solutions developed.
- Create effective presentations that communicate the value of proposed solutions to leadership and clients.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend current and emerging tools, techniques, and technologies related to solutions for solving business problems.
- Work with cross functional groups to ensure solutions meet performance and reliability goals.
- Work with legal to create, update and issue for signature statements of work, change requests, and associated documentation.
- Work with Sales to create proposals and responses to drive business growth for the company.
- Interface at all levels of customer hierarchy including key stakeholders and internal businesses units to support program requirements, timelines, and strategic initiatives.
Required Education, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in computer science or information systems or equivalent education or related work experience.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in IT Managed Services or other IT enterprise solutions.
- Extensive knowledge and experience working with enterprise IT environments and corresponding technologies, business analysis techniques, and operational processes.
- Experience developing IT and cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office suite of products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Visio)
- Project management and leadership skills are essential.
- Current understanding of best practices regarding wide range of enterprise IT

Physical, Mental Requirements and Work Environment :
- Must be able to work in front of a computer most of the work shift.
- Must be able to communicate with internal and external stakeholders,
Technical Skills :
- Cloud Platforms: Deep understanding and experience with major cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform), including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings, and strategies for multi-cloud/hybrid-cloud environments.
- Networking: Strong knowledge of enterprise networking concepts, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs, SD-WAN, and network security principles.
- Cybersecurity: Familiarity with common cybersecurity frameworks, threat landscapes, data protection, identity and access management (IAM), and compliance requirements.
- Virtualization & Containerization: Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
- Operating Systems: Proficiency with enterprise-level operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, various Linux distributions).
- Database Technologies: Understanding of various database types (relational, NoSQL) and common database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Data Management & Analytics: Awareness of data storage solutions, data warehousing, data lakes, and business intelligence tools.
- Automation & Orchestration: Knowledge of automation tools and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Ansible) for infrastructure provisioning and management.
- DevOps Principles: Understanding of DevOps methodologies and their application in enterprise IT environments.
- Enterprise Applications: Familiarity with common enterprise application architectures and integration patterns.
