About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Enterprise Architect with a strong background in Java-based enterprise applications, Banking & Payments domain expertise, and TOGAF certification. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining enterprise-wide technology architecture, driving digital transformation initiatives, and ensuring alignment between business objectives and technology solutions.

This role requires a seasoned professional who can lead large-scale architecture programs, establish technology roadmaps, and collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and future-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and govern enterprise architecture strategy, standards, frameworks, and best practices.

- Design and oversee large-scale architecture solutions across Banking and Payments platforms.

- Develop enterprise technology roadmaps aligned with business goals and digital transformation initiatives.

- Lead architecture reviews and ensure adherence to architectural principles, security standards, and regulatory requirements.

- Provide technical leadership for complex Java-based enterprise applications and distributed systems.

- Collaborate with business leaders, product teams, engineering teams, and external stakeholders to drive architectural decisions.

- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve business efficiency and customer experience.

- Ensure scalability, reliability, security, and performance of enterprise systems.

- Drive modernization initiatives, including cloud adoption, microservices architecture, API-led integrations, and digital payment ecosystems.

- Mentor solution architects and engineering teams on architecture best practices and governance processes.

- Support pre-sales, consulting engagements, and strategic technology initiatives where required.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Mandatory Requirements :

- 20- 26 years of overall IT experience with significant experience in Enterprise Architecture.

- TOGAF Certification (Mandatory).

- Strong expertise in Java-based enterprise application architecture.

- Extensive experience in the Banking and Payments domain (Mandatory).

- Proven track record of designing and implementing enterprise-scale solutions.

- Strong understanding of architecture frameworks, governance models, and technology strategy.
