Job Description :
We are seeking an Enterprise Architect with 20+ years of overall IT experience and 3 - 5 years in Enterprise / Solution Architecture using JAVA.
Proficient with Front & Back end technologies. Good expertise working in larger projects.
Tools & Languages :
- Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Microservices.
- RESTful API design and implementation.
- JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frameworks like ReactJS or Angular.
- SQL, Relational Databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Teradata), and data pipeline design.
- Containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, and Maven.
Requirement :
- Strong hands-on background in software engineering and enterprise architecture.
- Experience in Enterprise Application Architect.
- Mandatory hands-on experience with SRE practices, including :
1. SLI / SLO / SLA definition.
2. Observability (metrics, logs, traces).
3. Reliability engineering and incident management.
- Proven experience providing architecture oversight across multiple engineering practices.
- Strong expertise in cloud architecture (Azure / AWS) and distributed systems.
- Solid understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.
- Experience designing and governing highly available, scalable, and resilient systems.
- Strong integration experience across custom applications, data platforms.
- Excellent client-facing communication and leadership skills.
Job Description of Role :
1. Enterprise & Engineering Practice Oversight :
- Provide architectural oversight across Software Engineering, Cloud, selective Data platforms.
- Define and enforce enterprise-wide architecture standards, guardrails, and reference architectures across engineering practices.
- Ensure alignment between business objectives, engineering practices, and platform capabilities.
- Review and govern solution architectures across programs for scalability, security, cost efficiency, and operability.
2. SRE & Reliability Engineering :
- Champion SRE principles across all engineering practices.
- Define and govern SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, error budgets, and reliability targets at an enterprise level.
- Drive observability-first architecture covering logging, metrics, tracing, alerting, and incident response.
- Embed resilience patterns (HA, DR, fault tolerance, auto-healing, chaos engineering) into solution designs.
- Provide architectural oversight for incident management, postmortems, reliability reviews, and capacity planning.
3. Cloud & Platform Architecture :
- Lead architecture for multi-cloud / hybrid cloud environments (Azure, AWS any one or Both).
- Define patterns for cloud-native, containerized, and platform-based architectures.
- Oversee SaaS, PaaS, environment standardization, and platform governance.
- Ensure cloud architectures are optimized for cost, security, reliability, and performance.
4. Software Architecture & Modern Engineering :
- Define scalable architectures for enterprise-grade web, mobile, and API-driven systems.
- Govern use of modern frameworks and stacks across practices (.NET, Java, Python, JavaScript frameworks, APIs).
- Ensure adherence to clean architecture, domain-driven design, and modular design principles.
- Review and guide architectural decisions for complex, distributed systems.
5. DevOps, CI/CD & Engineering Enablement :
- Ensure tight alignment between architecture, DevOps, and SRE practices.
- Govern CI/CD architecture, deployment strategies, and release reliability.
- Promote automation across build, test, deploy, monitoring, and recovery.
- Drive adoption of engineering excellence practices across teams.
6. Architecture Governance & Quality :
- Review solution designs for architectural conformance, reliability, security, and quality.
- Own and maintain enterprise architecture artifacts (reference architectures, standards, patterns, diagrams).
- Conduct architecture reviews and provide actionable guidance to delivery teams.
7. Customer & Stakeholder Alignment :
- Act as a trusted architectural advisor to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with onshore architects and customer technology leaders to shape solutions.
- Translate business needs into robust, reliable, and future-proof architectures.
8. Risk Management & Compliance :
- Identify and mitigate technical, operational, and reliability risks.
- Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, performance, and business continuity requirements.
